Salt Lamp Studios is a rehearsal space and recording studio located in the Avondale neighborhood on Chicago's northwest side. It's a no frills place for working musicians — people who need a consistent, comfortable room to practice, write, and record without the overhead of a commercial studio.
The space was conceived from the start with community and utility in mind. Good gear, good treatment, and a straightforward booking process. Whether you're a band rehearsing for a show or a solo artist tracking an EP, we keep things focused on the work.
